Synopsis:
What makes a person who they are? Your actions, your postures, your decisions? Your smell, your touch, your taste? Your wishes? Your frustrations?
On the threshold of death, life is always talked about. But, beyond the death/life dichotomy, the show “I remember” deals with paths taken, choices made by decisions not taken, the longing for life possibilities that were left behind. It deals with the power of the little things that give meaning and meaning to the lives of each of the people who live - without big actions, without big gestures, the non-heroes who populate the world and are happy unhappy living with no option but: to live .
Inspired by the motto of the film “ Wandafuru Raifu ”, by Hirokazu Koreeda, the play proposes to the actors the challenge of weaving real and fabled experiences, theirs and others', into the scene. The text, built from the relationships between these people, uses movement, words, light, music, silence, looks, touch as threads, and leaves the question diluted by its braid: what about you, if you could take something from your life for yourself? , would live what?
