Synopsis
Evelina Grandis was a precursor of music in Londrina, where she arrived in 1946, coming from the State of São Paulo. She created the first group in 1951, which had 17 accordionists, and taught classes until 1974, when she became ill and was forbidden by the doctor to continue playing. In 2002, in the celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the Conservatory of Music of Londrina, some accordionists who played with Evelina were invited to get together for a show. The group formed again, today with other members, coordinated by Sônia Swenson Grandis Lepri, Evelina's daughter, and has been performing at various events.
