Synopsis:

The “Performance of the forgotten” is the result of the discipline of Interpretation IV, attended by actor Rafael Garcia, graduated in Performing Arts from the State University of Londrina. The creation process was guided by professor Fernando Stratico. The interpretation, initially entitled “Cerimônia do Adeus – Parte I”, was presented in September 2014 at the Historical Museum of Londrina.

The practical research of the performance unfolded from experiments carried out in the old and abandoned train station, located in Garça, São Paulo, where Rafael spent part of his childhood. As part of the process, some memories of his grandfather Narciso Caetano (1928-2011) were rescued, who is the main character of the show “Now, is the goodbye ceremony”.

The performance is an invitation for the public to delve into the universe of the forgotten; rescuing, even for a few seconds, the lost voice, the forgotten image and the smell of smoke from the train that never comes back.
